- Analytical and quasianalytical methods for the computation of electromagnetic fields
- Software implementation of the mathematical formulations
- Development, implementation and optimization of numerical solution algorithms for electromagnetic field problems
- Solving complex technical electromagnetic field problems from technical applications and natural sciences
- Simulation of complex systems of electrical power transmission technology
- Numerical EMC studies in complex technical systems, e.g. in automotive engineering
- Numerical dosimetry of biological organisms in complex electromagnetic exposure situations, e.g., for occupational health and safety investigations
